Main research fields: Deep crustal melting and deep processes of orogenic belts; lithospheric geochemistry and geotectonic dynamics of the Qinghai Tibetan Plateau; basic magmatism and mantle melting. Selected or won the Outstanding Youth of National Natural Science Foundation of Chinaand National Talent (Special Branch) Program of the Ministry of Personnel and other a dozen of talent program or titles. He has published more than 120 papers, including more than 40 papers as the first author.
